Keep Hitting. Keep Moving. Keep The Gun Running.

Welcome to A&M Shooting Academy!

Meet our Staff

Mike Wirth began shooting in his mid-teens and really took to competitive shooting. He has been competing in USPSA and IDPA since 2002 and has attained the classification of Master in both sports. In 2008, Mike attained his IDPA Safety Officer certification and USPSA Range Officer certification.

While in College obtaining his Mechanical Engineering Degree Mike focused on introducing his friends and classmates to firearms safety and marksmanship. While bringing new shooters into the gun community, this also helped Mike refine his instructional techniques and knowledge. Mike has trained with Oregon Firearms Academy in Brownsville, OR and with the Public Safety Training Center in Clackamas, OR.  Mike is also a NRA Certified Pistol Instructor.

Aaron was raised in a very pro gun family and was exposed to firearms at a young age. Aaron began competitive shooting at the age of 12 and has been involved in some sort of competition ever since. Currently Aaron shoots in IDPA and USPSA and is a master class shooter. Aaron is a Safety Officer Instructor in IDPA and a Range Officer in USPSA.

Aaron has attended Front Sight in Nevada, NRA Instructor classes, and several classes from local instructors. Aaron is also a certified NRA Pistol Instructor. Aaron has always enjoyed sharing his shooting knowledge with new people. Observing a new shooter learn new skills and gain new abilities is a very rewarding experience for Aaron. He looks forward to continuing this tradition with A&M Shooting Academy.
