What is the Utah Concealed Firearms Permit?

The state of Utah, like many states issues a concealed carry permit to it's citizens AND non-residents alike. It can be issued to any American citizen regardless of which state you live in.

Who can get the permit?

Any law abiding citizen of the U.S. can get this permit. It is "shall issue", meaning that it must be issued to you unless you are legally prevented from having it. Utah establishes the prohibitions on the permit HERE.

How do I get the permit?

Utah administers a group of certified Instructors that can teach the course the material. As the student you need to take the course, complete fingerprint cards, and get two passport photos made. A&M is your one-stop-shop for all these steps. After our class, you will be ready to mail off your packet for processing.

Why should I get a Utah Permit?

So, why should you get the permit? Unlike many other state's permits, Utah's permit is honored in many states across the U.S. The map below shows how many states honor the Utah permit. All states colored BLACK and Blue currently honor the Utah CFP.

When and where can I take the course?

2. If you have a group of 5 or larger, we will come teach the class at a location of your choosing. Just get your group together with a date and time, and contact us!
